This page sets out how to keep gambling under control, what this site can confirm about its own build, and where the tools that actually manage play are located. It applies to every operator listing on this site and to the eighteen-and-over restriction that runs through the whole build.
Before You Start
Decisions made before any money is involved are easier to keep to than decisions made mid-session, because a session in progress comes with pressure that a calm moment beforehand does not have.
- Decide the amount you are willing to spend before you begin, and treat that figure as already spent rather than as money you are trying to win back.
- Never gamble with borrowed money. Money that has to be repaid changes the stakes of a loss into a debt problem, not just a leisure cost.
- Set a time limit as well as a money limit. Sessions that run long tend to erode the judgement that set the original limit.
While You Play
The middle of a session is where most of the risk sits, because it is when a small loss can turn into a chase for a bigger one.
- Never chase a loss. Trying to win back what has gone is a decision made from frustration, not from a plan, and it tends to increase the size of the loss.
- Take breaks. Stepping away resets the urge to keep going "just a bit longer" and gives you a chance to check the time and the amount spent against what you decided beforehand.
- If gambling stops feeling like entertainment and starts feeling like something you need to do, involve someone else early — a friend, a family member, or one of the organisations linked below. Early conversations are easier than ones held after a loss has grown large.
Where the Controls Actually Live
Tools such as deposit caps, loss caps, reality checks, cooling-off periods and self-exclusion are account features. They exist inside an account held with an operator, and they are switched on, checked and enforced there.
- This site has no account, no form and no server-side application of any kind, so nothing published here can turn on such a control, check its status, or enforce it.
- Nobody's age is verified on this site and no gambling takes place on it. Any age check happens at the destination, after an operator link is followed.
- There is no advertising or behavioural profiling network on these pages. Nothing here is targeted at a reader based on prior gambling activity, because no such tracking exists on this build.
- Each of the ten operator listings ends with the same line: check availability and the current terms at the destination before claiming anything, since eligibility rules and terms apply there and can change without notice.
- Everything a reader can actually do with money happens after leaving this site. Every operator link redirects to a third party, and from that point the destination's own rules, checks and account controls apply — not anything published here.
Age Restriction
The eighteen-and-over restriction is repeated throughout this site, including on the front page and at the end of every operator listing. It applies regardless of where on the site a reader arrives.
Independent Help
Every page of this site, including this one, carries links to three independent gambling-help organisations: gambleaware.nsw.gov.au, gamblinghelponline.org.au, and responsiblegambling.vic.gov.au. These are the only outbound links on the whole site that are not commercial.
- Unlike the operator links, these three carry no sponsored marking, are set to nofollow, and open in a separate tab on the organisations' own websites.
- This site receives nothing when a reader follows one of these links.
- They are provided as an independent source of help, nothing more is claimed about them here.
